Fashion exhibits at museums remind us of the importance and beauty of dress, but curators force us to ignore the cruel fact that clothes get damaged--often by the very bodies they are meant to adorn, cover, and protect. So how are clothes damaged? This exhibit explores how the bodies that wear, love, and protect clothes can often damage them beyond repair.
